Murali N. Naidu, MD, was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of San Ramon Regional Medical Center in November 2024, after three years at our sister hospital, Emanuel Medical Center (EMC), in Turlock, California. Prior to that, Dr. Naidu was the CEO of Doctors’ Hospital of Manteca (DHM), another Tenet Healthcare hospital, where he started in 2020. He helped guide both EMC and DHM through the pandemic and expansion of minimally invasive services.

Dr. Naidu is a laparoscopic surgeon who practiced for more than ten years prior to his full-time leadership roles at Tenet. Dr. Naidu earned his B.A. in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Medicine.

Active both in the healthcare and local communities, Dr. Naidu serves on the Board of Directors of the Hospital Council of Northern & Central California, the California Hospital Association, as well as the Board of Trustees for the Head-Royce School in Oakland, whose mission is to develop students of character, intellect, and creativity.
